Halton Transport is now taken over running the supported 200 shuttle service and renamed it Sci-Tech using low floor minibuses.
Seen in Widnes on a Sunday service HTL using an Optare Solo slimline SR. A Mercedes minibus is usually used on this service.

Added a new drawing I have completed this week for a driver of Selwyns of Runcorn for which a framed copy was presented to him. It is a Neoplan Cityliner. This can be found in the Bus Art section of this site.

Seen in Chester Bus Exchange is Arriva Wrightbus Pulsar 2 VDL SB200. Unsure which depot the bus is based however it is sad to see a relatively new bus needing to be towed!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a further new pencil drawing is of a Mk2 Leyland National of Crosville Beechwood depot. Registration AFM 3W fleet number SNL3 working the T4 service in the unique Busway ."T" livery. If you have any memories of it please feel free to leave a comment.

New in the Bus Art section is a pencil drawing of a Selwyns of Runcorn Caetano Levante Scania K340 EB4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turning off the busway at Beechwood, Runcorn is Ashcroft's Renault minibus reg: GK02 WDJ on service 52 in a striking blue livery.

Added a further new pencil drawing is of a North Western East Lancs EL2000 bodied Dennis Falcon based at Runcorn Beechwood depot. They were allocated to services into Liverpool and Chester. This is G382 EKA No 382.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5th September 2014

 

Recent aquisition to Halton Transport is a Scania OmniCity previously new to Metrobus for fastway services in 2009. It is numbered 83 and unusually a two door vehicle. It was seen today in Widnes Town Centre on service 2.
