Happy New Year to you all. A visit to Warrington Interchange today saw Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini bus No: 301 Reg: LJ04 LGC working an inbound service 16 now in the latest livery which has been adapted slightly to make the most of the double Decker Hight.

Seen on the Runcorn Busway near Shopping City is ADL Enviro200MMC bus Reg: SK68 LZF No: 7932 on Weston circular route 3C and on loan to Arriva to assist with the increase in services due to emergency cover of ex Halton Transport routes. Also on loan to Arriva is MCV Evolution VDLSB180 bus Reg: YJ62 JXW No: 7931 seen in Widnes Green Oaks operating service 61 to Liverpool.

Farewell to Jim Stones of Leigh
Over 33 yers in operation in and around Leigh Jim Stones has ended their operation. Warrington's Own Buses and Diamond are some of the operators running the former routes. Seen in leigh Bus Station is ADL Enviro 200 bus reg: JB51 BUS as always imaculate. Wishing Joan and Jim Stones well with their retirement.

I have just completed this A3 size coloured pencil drawing of a Leyeland Lynx MKII bus reg: H35 HBG No 35 in the Halton Transport Fleet. They had a very distinctive sound which meant it could be easilty idenifed before it arrived at the bus stop! Part of the fond memories of Halton Transport.

Arriva has extended the 79C service into Runcorn. Pictured on the Runcorn Busway near to the Arriva depot is Wrightbus Pulsar VDLSB200 bus reg: CX58 EUF no: 2685 on its way towards Liverpool.

Farewell Halton Transport
Very sad news today as Halton Transport has ceased trading. Wishing all the best to the staff in finding new jobs. As a tribute please see here my pencil drawing of the last type of new bus bought by Halton an MCV Evolution/Enviro200.

Two by Two… Seen in Warrington Bus Interchange is recently acquired by Warrington's Own Buses is ADL Enviro400City bus No: 303 Reg: PN16 PAV and sister vehicle No: 304 Reg: SN16 OVB both sporting the latest livery working the POPS service 20/21.

Farewell to Shearings Holidays. It is very sad to hear that the owner of Shearings Holidays: Specialist Leisure Group has entered into administration. The last photograph I have taken of a Shearings coach was back in September 2017 at Runcorn, Cheshire a Mercendes Benz Tourismo Reg: BN17 JUA No: 916.

Today saw the introduction of MP Travel operating on behalf of Arriva Service X1 limited stop service to Liverpool One. Two of MP Travel’s newest vehicles is MCV EvoRa bus Reg: MP20 BUS named Phyllis heading for Halton Hospital and ADL Enviro 200 bus Reg: WP68 BUS named Marjorie heading towards Liverpool One. Very nice to see much modern buses on this route.
